spirituality

The guidance I found lead me to become a spiritual director for the spiritual but not religious.

First do no harm.

This is my mantra when it comes to Spiritual Direction. I have been trained as a deep listener. Your journey has everything to do with you, what matters to you, what longings you have, and what hopes to be healed, liberated, and guided from within you.

I am a fan of many traditions and practices. I am inspired by art, philosophy, science, and mystery. I spent decades lost and perceiving myself outside of belonging because my beliefs and intuitions did not line up with what I was told to believe. I sought direction from guides that had no personal or professional stake in my steps or my path.

As a spiritual director, I walk beside others on their journey to find wholeness, integrity, and authenticity as they seek to connect with something within or perhaps outside themselves.

This longing can simply be defined as a belief that there is more, and that it does matter.

In spiritual direction sessions, we explore the questions, curiosities, and longings. Without assumptions or layers of doctrine and beliefs that are coming from anywhere outside the directee’s deep understanding or sense of knowing.

I left the church a long time ago. I sense there is something more to life, but I don’t buy into the stories I’ve been told. It is refreshing to explore what I think and believe
